If you're in the DC area, try to make a stop here. This is hero heaven. Choice of hard or soft Italian rolls: my favorite is the "Philly": Genoa salami, capacola (spicy ham), Danish ham, and aged provelone on a hard roll with hot peppers, lettuce, onions, oregano, tomato, and oil & vinegar dressing. They also offer lots of other sandwiches, great pizza, and slightly slow service (take a number) especially if you go at lunch. Well worth the wait. The store also carries a selection of Italian wines, pastas, cheeses, and various gourmet-store imported products.

Great place for subs! The pizza is really good too. Nice selection of imported Italian gourmet products.
