The quintessential cuizinequest restaurant. Great home-style cooking at low, low prices. This is a Vienna institution, with a loyal local following, but the restaurant is not often reviewed and seems little-known outside of Vienna. This is too bad, because it is a place worth a little drive. I usually have the souvlaki, marinated chuncks of char-grilled pork tenderloin, but my wife loves their Gyros -- a grilled beef and lamb mixture served in slices over a salad with the typical tzatziki (yogurt) sauce. Moussaka, grilled chicken, lamb chops, and fish specials are other regular menu items, along with various pita wraps and sub sandwiches. Baklava for dessert of course.
Mostly take-out, but the recent expansion now permits about 25 diners to enjoy the food in their dining room. Highly recommended.
