Huge menu and two decades of service to the Washington DC area residents characterize this local landmark. This Arlington branch was opened a few years ago, and is an offshoot of the original restaurant on MacArthur Blvd. in Washington,DC. Only the seafood pastas exceed our budget guidelines, and there are plenty of delicious dishes to chose from in other categories. One of the popular pastas is the pappardelle del bosco prepared with shiitakes, portabellos, and button mushrooms. This is not nouvo Italian style cooking, and some diners comment on what they term a 1970’s menu, but overall opinions are favorable. Compare their pizza to The Italian Store’s (see listing) and decide for yourself.
